The cluster mailboxes project, reviewed and endorsed by the Road Committee, is approved by the Postal Service and delivery began April 28, 2009. The location is approximately .4 mile behind the security gate and features four clusters of 16 boxes which will accommodate residents who have already expressed an interest as well as new residents as they build and move into the neighborhood.
NOTE: It is unfortunate that one property owner, without knowledge of or consultation with the Road Committee, constructed cluster mailboxes within the legally recognized road easement on Rancho Heights Road, outside of the gate, at the same time that others, in consultation with the Committee, were seeking a better, safer solution to the mailbox issue.
This owner's action is in violation of established community policy and the owner has been notified of this and a number of other concerns in writing by the Committee's attorney. for a copy of that letter. If you have additional questions about this issue, contact the Committee.
