While the curbside trash pickup is a great convenience, residents need to remember that we are living in a rural area also populated by critters -- particularly dogs and coyotes -- to whom a trash can left out overnight is just a free midnight snack. It is strongly recommended that trash not go out into the street before dawn on the day of pickup.
